Equi-lift

Model RC

The safest solution for supporting horses during recovery from anaesthesia in the clinic.
Model RC

Overview

Recovery from anaesthesia begins when the horse is disconnected from the anaesthesia machine and ends once it is safely standing. Approximately 32% of anaesthesia-related fatalities occur during this critical period, making close monitoring essential while presenting significant challenges for veterinary teams.
The Equi-lift Model RC provides optimal support throughout recovery, helping reduce the risk of injuries and fractures for both horses and veterinary staff.
Equi-lift helps reduce post-anaesthetic neuropathies by supporting the horse within a protected environment until it is able to stand safely on its own.
How It Works

Summary

Specifically developed to support horses during recovery following surgery.
After surgery, the horse is gently positioned on the previously inflated and opened cushion. Once correctly positioned, the inflatable structure is closed and the horse is allowed to recover safely from anaesthesia.
This recovery method helps prevent falls, trauma and fractures commonly associated with difficult anaesthetic recoveries.
Particularly beneficial for older horses, animals with reduced mobility, high-value horses and patients undergoing lengthy surgical procedures.
