Model Classic

As veterinarians, we are frequently called to assist horses that are recumbent and unable to stand. In many of these everyday situations, the Equi-lift cushion can significantly improve treatment outcomes and recovery prospects.
The system is particularly effective in cases involving:
  • Osteoarthritis;
  • Trauma;
  • Myopathy;
  • Fractures;
  • ...
The Equi-lift cushion is also invaluable for animal rescue teams and fire services that regularly respond to emergencies involving large animals.
The Equi-lift Model Classic is fitted with lifting straps and anchor points, allowing the inflatable system and the animal to be lifted safely together.
The Equi-lift Model Classic can also be used as a portable surgical support platform for field procedures.
Equi-lift

Model M

Surgical procedures on recumbent animals are performed either on an operating table or on specially prepared floor surfaces. Even with padded operating tables, the support surface remains relatively firm.
Model M was developed in collaboration with equine surgeons to reduce the risk of myopathy and muscle crush syndrome, particularly during lengthy procedures involving athletic or heavily muscled horses.
Equi-lift

Model RC

Recovery from anaesthesia begins when the horse is disconnected from the anaesthesia machine and ends once it is safely standing. Approximately 32% of anaesthesia-related fatalities occur during this critical phase, making close supervision essential while also presenting significant risks for veterinary staff.
The Equi-lift Model RC provides optimal support throughout anaesthetic recovery, significantly reducing the risk of injury and fractures for both the horse and the veterinary team.
Equi-lift helps reduce post-anaesthetic neuropathies by supporting the horse within a protected environment until it is able to stand safely on its own.
